All about data protection
The General Data Protection Regulation was adopted by the EU in 2016 and comes into force on . May 25, 2018.
For the company, this means that it must be possible to demonstrate that personal data is processed in a responsible manner.
Therefore, no more data should be collected and recorded than is strictly necessary and it should not be stored for longer than necessary.
Basic principles
Personal data is defined as any form of information about an identified or identifiable natural person.
This data will be collected and processed by DanBlumen based on the principles below in the Personal Data Regulation.
Legality
We only process data that we have permission to use.
Here a distinction is made between law, consent, legitimate and contractual authority.
Reasonableness
We only process data to the extent that it serves a reasonable purpose.
Transparency
We clearly inform employees and partners about our data processing.
Homepage
We do not collect any information about visitors to our website.
And marketing work generally does not involve working with collected personal data.
Data processing and rights
Data exchange:
Data is only exchanged in the form of employee data; this data is exchanged as part of contractual and legally required information. DanBLumen has entered into Data Processing Agreements with all relevant partners. In the event that others have access to data, a confidentiality agreement will be signed.
Data storage:
All electronic data is stored on servers in Denmark. Data exchange can also take place via Office365. Servers and employee computers are all protected by updated firewalls and antivirus programs. Physical data is stored in locked cabinets.
Rights:
According to the General Data Protection Regulation, you as a private individual always have the right to be informed about what information we have about you, as well as to have this updated, provided and/or deleted. Private individuals also have the right to report to the Data Protection Authority about the company’s
Data security and data management
At DanBlumen, we are systemically protected by updated firewalls, spam filters and antivirus programs. The computers are protected by personal passwords. Only employees who have a work-related purpose for the personal data have access to it.
Deletion and data leak
Deletion
The data is deleted/shredded in a safe manner when the specified deletion time occurs.
Data leak
DanBlumen will inform the Danish Data Protection Agency within 72 hours of discovering any data leak.
